Sandy joined the firm in September 2007. She
brings to the firm Quick Books knowledge as a former Owner of a
Quick Books Consulting Business for 10 years, specializing in Quick
Books Pro Conversions, Training and Setup. A graduate of the
University of Texas at Tyler with a Bachelors of Business in
Accounting, Sandy is currently pursuing a Masters of Accounting and
CPA certification. In addition, she is a Quick Books Certified
ProAdvisor. Her accounting experience includes many years in
construction, restaurant and non-profit accounting, working her way
from Staff Accountant to Controller.
Sandy is very active in her church, Martin’s Chapel Church of the
Nazarene, currently serving as Church Treasurer. She has also served
as a Church Board Member and Secretary of the Board. She is the
former director of Women’s Ministries at her church and has spent
many years as President of a Community Ladies Group that enjoys
gathering for Christian Fellowship.
Sandy was born and raised in the Overton/New London area. She enjoys
life on a farm with her husband, Roger, two dachshunds A.J. and
Sammie Jo, and various outside animals. She is the proud mom of two
children, Marc and Britney, and has two beautiful granddaughters,
Journee and Grace. In her spare time, she loves spending time with
her family, traveling, reading, interior decorating, and shopping in
antique shops. |
