Peter A. Galbraith, CFE, joined the firm bringing
over 25 years of investigative experience from the Federal Bureau of
Investigation. His outstanding credentials as a Certified Fraud
Examiner and a Certified Fraud Specialist afforded him knowledge in
the areas of White Collar Crime, Public Corruption, Civil Rights,
and Domestic Terrorism. As the Supervisory Senior Resident Agent for
30 East Texas counties, Pete acquired extensive experience in
investigating financial crimes, money laundering, and tracing
assets.
Pete graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Accounting from
Westminster College, New Wilmington, Pennsylvania. In1983, after
three years with Mutual Benefit Life Insurance Company as the
Corporate Tax Manager, he accepted an appointment as a Special Agent
of the FBI. As an FBI Special Agent he has been assigned to field
offices in New Jersey, Indiana, New York and Texas where his
specialties have included White Collar Crime and Organized Crime.
Among Pete’s accomplishments are the administration, support and
review of Economic Crimes Programs, Undercover Operations, and the
investigation and prosecution of notorious Ponzi schemes, Corporate
Fraud, Securities Fraud, Insurance Fraud and Financial Institution
Fraud affairs. He became a founding participant in the East Texas
Securities Fraud Task Force, the Bankers Working Group and the
Northeast Texas Bankruptcy Fraud Task Force. Pete has taught
continuing education courses at Tyler Junior College and conducts
guest lectures at the University of Texas-Tyler and the East Texas
Chapter of Certified Public Accountants.
Pete’s practice includes fraud investigations, forensic analysis of
documents, and internal control evaluation and consulting.
Pete and his lovely wife Rita are very involved in the activities of
their two sons, Peter and Hunter and attend Dayspring United
Methodist Church in Tyler, TX. |
