David K. Godwin joined the firm in November of
2007. His areas of practice include tax preparation, consulting
services and financial statement audits for governmental entities
and non-profit organizations.
David graduated from the University of Texas at Tyler in December
2007, where he received his Bachelors of Business Administration in
Accounting. He is currently completing studies to become a CPA.
David is originally from Illinois, but migrated
to East Texas when he was in second grade. He graduated from
Hallsville High School in 2000 and began his undergraduate degree at
Kilgore College before transferring to the University of Texas at
Tyler in the fall of 2006.
David is a member of the Texas Society of
Certified Public Accountants and a past member of the UT Tyler
Accounting Society. His college sweetheart and wife Aigul is
originally from Kazakhstan, where they frequently travel to visit
relatives. David enjoys classic mustangs and spending time with his
wife and their daughter, Eva Gwenn. |
